It expands solitary meditation by extending the mindfulness\, wisdom\, and compassion of silent practice into speaking and listening in contemplation with others.   \n  In this workshop/retreat we will explore classical Buddhist teachings on mindfulness\, tranquility\, and equanimity and connect these to western psychological understandings of\nthe healing relationship.
