A Special Tuesday Meeting with Bernie Glassman

Roshi Glassman emphasizes service as an expression of spiritual awakening.  Integrating Zen practice, social service, and interfaith work to respond to the most difficult problems of our human condition -- poverty, hunger, war, and disease – resulting in the experience of wholeness and interdependence in the context of daily life. Glassman is a published author, accomplished academic and a successful businessman with a PhD in Applied Mathematics. He is the founder of Zen Peacemakers and currently teaches at the Maezumi Institute and at the Harvard Divinity School. Suggested minimum donation is $10. Proceeds will fund a donation to PACEM, a community shelter program that serves Charlottesville’s homeless. Information - Allie Rudolph:  allier@imeditation.org



Space will be limited to 200  participants.  Come early to secure a seat.  Additional parking is available at the Church of the Incarnation across the street from JABA.  Please do not leave valuables in your car.
