IMCC Hikes South River Falls

IMCC member Helene Freiman leads the second of our fall hikes. A 4.8-mile loop hike from the picnic area at South River Falls to the base of the third largest water fall in the Shenandoah National Park (83’). This hike offers outstanding views of the falls from an overview and at its base. A moderate hike with a few steep climbs.

Wear hiking boots or sturdy shoes, and bring a snack and water.
