The precepts are guideposts to sane and joyous living and are as central to our practice today as they were in the Buddha’s time. This course will provide an opportunity for you to move more deeply into your understanding of the meaning of the ethical assumptions in your life.
The course format will include:
· Small-group, experientially based discussions
· Teachers’ comments
· Handouts
· At the course conclusion, a precepts ceremony and celebration
Open to all who are interested in exploring the precepts. No prerequisites.
Cost—$80 (no one will be denied participation due to lack of funds)
