The Buddha famously offered teaching on suffering and the way to end all suffering. The Noble Eightfold Path is at the very heart of these teachings, offering guidance that challenges us to bring the teachings fully alive in our ordinary and everyday practice.

Beginning April 19th, IMCC teachers Pat, Susan, Teresa, Jeff , Sharon and Charmi – along with (we hope) guest teacher Hugh Byrne, will offer teachings on ten Tuesday nights on each of the factors of the Noble Eightfold Path. This series will invite us all into more personal and intimate realizations of the power of our practice to bring peace to our lives and to our world.

Each evening we will review the purpose and structure of the entire Path before articulating the next Path factor so those who missed some evenings will be brought up to speed.

Tonight we will explore Wise View.  The Buddha spoke of Wise View or Wise Perspective as both the beginning and the end of the Path. There are wise perspectives leading to happiness, peace and wisdom and unwise perspectives leading elsewhere. Please join us as we explore this fascinating Path factor.

IMCC meets every Tuesday evening for a period of guided meditation and a talk by one of IMCC's experienced meditation teachers.  The program is designed to be friendly and of interest to people with no meditation experience as well as more advanced practitioners.

This week's teacher:  Pat Coffey
