Fredericksburg Day Long Silent Retreat

  • 16 Apr 2016
  • 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Fredericksburg 25 Chalice Circle Fredericksburg, VA 22405
In daily life we can have all sorts of experiences, some pleasant, some not so much. In this day-long retreat, we will explore ways to bring our meditation practice more deeply and fully alive with it all, both on the cushion and as we live the moments of our ordinary lives. We will see that we can make friends with all sorts of energies as we discover and practice, together, the deep wisdom, kindness, compassion and tranquility that are available to us in every single moment.

This silent day long retreat will consist of periods of instruction, along with sitting and walking meditation practice. No former experience in meditation required.

Led by: Sharon Beckman-Brindley and Todd Drake
