Racial Affinity Group

IMCC and Cloud Floating Free are offering a Racial Affinity Group-- a white identifying practice group focusing on deepening anti-racist engagement, supported by dharma practice and Sangha-- the first Thursday evening of each month, starting in February 2026. The group will be open to 10 white individuals who are interested in engaging with a model designed and described by Meditation Teacher Ruth King in her book Mindful of Race. The group is mindfulness-based and will meet monthly for a minimum of one year. The goal is to invite a personal investigation, transformation, and healing of our racial conditioning with members of our racial group.
