An Evening with Ajahn Thanasanti
When
25 Feb 2011
7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Location
Sojourner's United Church of Christ, 1017 Elliott Avenue
Please join us for an evening meditation and talk by Ajahn Thanasnati. A reception will begin at 7 PM followed by a meditation and talk starting at 7:30 and ending at 9PM.
Ajahn Thanasanti is a nun in the Theravadan tradition of Buddhism, one of the first nuns to be fully ordained in North America. She comes from the Chithurst Monastery in the UK, and has spent a part of her monastic life in retreat in the remote bush of Australia .
Currently residing in Colorado Springs, Colorado, her teaching and guidance has included intensive meditation retreats in the US, UK, Switzerland and Australia.
We are delighted to have her visit us while on the East Coast, and hope you can share this special evening with us.
There is no charge for this event, and donations for the teachings are gratefully appreciated.
