Everything is Workable. Really.

Teacher: Sharon Beckman-Brindley

A few weeks ago, the Ethics and Reconciliation team offered a frame for the IMCC resources that are available when relational conflicts, program concerns or ethical questions arise within IMCC.  After that evening's presentation, there was a request that we explore a bit more deeply how our practice can help us to work with relational  or systemic conflicts and difficulties that may arise. This evening's talk is in response to that request.

You will be invited to bring to mind a conflict or difficulty that is causing you some stress and that, at times, may seem unworkable - or rather, that seems to require something or someone outside of your own mind to change. We will offer  guidance on some of the many ways that the Buddha invites us to work with these inevitable life challenges.

We will begin with a meditation, enjoy a few minutes of socializing, and then engage with a Dharma talk on the practice of equanimity.

All are welcome - newcomers to our group and meditation as well as experienced practitioners.
