Are you interested in starting or enhancing your meditation practice? This six-week mindfulness meditation course may be a great step toward learning about the basic elements of meditation and the centuries old Buddhist teachings that are the foundation for modern mindfulness meditation practices.
The class will include guided meditations with a small group of fellow practitioners and support for developing your own practice at home. Through instruction, guided practice, and discussion groups on the Zoom platform, we will explore meditation approaches including mindfulness of breath, body, emotions and thoughts, and the heart practices of loving kindness and compassion. You will receive additional guided meditations and homework suggestions to help you to integrate the teachings and strengthen your ongoing practice.
The six-week class will run from Wednesday, March 10 through April 14.
