Sharon Shelton


Sharon Shelton has been studying and practicing meditation for over 15yrs. She is a certified mindfulness teacher (CMT-P), and a member of the International Mindfulness Teachers Association (IMTA).  The study and practice of mindfulness have changed her life since she discovered the dharma in the early years of recovery from alcoholism in the late 1990s.

Sharon is founding advisor and teacher at Cloud Sangha (www.cloudsangha.co) and a guest teacher at the Triangle Insight Meditation Community in Durham, NC. She is also an ordained interfaith minister, a speaker, and a coach. Since 2007, Sharon has been credentialed as a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) by the ICF, and was voted a Top Life Coach in Raleigh NC for 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020 by Expertise. Sharon is also the founder of the 3700+ member Listen to Your Life Meetup and has been leading and facilitating diverse groups for over a decade.

Sharon is a native New Yorker and currently lives in Cary, NC with her wife Dr. Michelle Bailey.
