The Banyan Deer and the Heavenly Mindstates
When
26 Jun 2012
7:30 PM - 9:00 PM
Location
JABA, 674 Hillsdale Drive, CV 22901
Our regular Tuesday night meeting will be led tonight by Susan Stone. A period of guided meditation will be followed by a talk, "The Banyan Deer and the Heavenly Mindstates," which will focus on a charming, ancient Buddhist fable that illustrates the four "heavenly mindstates" taught by the Buddha--lovingkindness, compassion, appreciative joy and equanimity. An informal period of discussion will follow the talk.
