SANGHA SUNDAYS

  • 05 May 2024
  • 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM
  • Riverview Park's Adopt-a-Spot's rock circle
Our open/ drop-in nature meditation monthly practice group, SANGHAS SUNDAYS will meet again on the next 1st Sunday, May 5th from 10:00 to 11:30 AM at Riverview Park's Adopt-a-Spot's rock circle at the end of the street at 1909 Chesapeake ST.  This free offering is an open gathering among eco-spiritual friends, connecting in nature with gratitude, compassion and reciprocity contemplations related to community engagement for climate action.

*Also, during our intentional and insightful discussion, we'll continue integrating our mindful practices for supporting a local initiative with a 1-month pledge:"4-More-Car-Free-Days" in collaboration with "May's Bike-Month," Charlottesville's local and national campaign.

We aim to promote "car-free-er" commuting through rideshare/carpooling, walking, bicycling, and electric-bicycling, along with some public transit with the new piloted program MicroCAT.  (We're inviting all to consider co-creating harmonious carpooling, such as "meditative mobiles.")
*For more information or to RSVP please contact Linda at  lacapa007@yahoo.com or call
(434) 296-1338.
* ALTERNATIVE  INCLEMENT WEATHER PLANS WILL BE EMAILED BY 9:00 AM THAT SUN. TO THOSE WHO RSVP.
