The "Nature" of Nature is Change: Relating to this Ambiguity is the Key to Happiness
When

7:30 PM - 9:00 PM
Location
JABA 674 Hillsdale Road, Charlottesville, VA
The "Nature" of Nature is Change:
Relating to this Ambiguity is the Key to Happiness
Shantideva the 8th century Buddhist sage wrote:
All that I possess and use
Is like a fleeting vision of a dream.
It fades into the realms of memory;
And fading, will be seen no more.
Change and ambiguity can not be avoided. Tonight Pat will talk about healthy and restorative practice and perspective that can transform this reality of nature from feared enemy to comfortable refuge.
IMCC meets every Tuesday evening for a period of guided meditation and a talk by one of IMCC's experienced meditation teachers. The program is designed to be friendly and of interest to people with no meditation experience as well as more advanced practitioners.
