We are meeting in person at 717 Rugby Rd in the Unitarian Universalist sanctuary and on Zoom.
Recent events and much of popular culture invite us relentlessly to wander off and then hide out in the “rabbit holes” of mental chatter, confusion and familiar, though unhelpful, thought patterns. This can seem especially true when we encounter the unpleasant or difficult. Our daily practice invites us to first recognize and then step out of those patterns of thought; we are invited to pause, first of all, into awareness. With our spiritual practice, we then are invited into deep and kind curiosity, ongoing investigation, and wise choices for ourselves and others.
In this evening’s gathering we will inquire together into The Buddha’s guidance for us in these inevitable moments of confusion.
