Through an examination of the paramis you will see more clearly your spiritual course for the new year and beyond. In the Buddhist tradition, there are ten qualities (paramis) that one develops through a lifetime which enhance your daily life experience and lead to realization.
The paramis are: generosity, ethical behavior, renunciation, patience, determination, truthfulness, equanimity, loving-kindness, energy, and wisdom. In this day-long you will learn how mindfulness can develop these qualities, how to apply and integrate them into your life.
The retreat will consist of walking and sitting meditations, dharma talk, Q&A and a self assessment of the paramis. Cost: donation only. There will be an opportunity to offer dana (donation) for the teacher.
