Tuesday Evening Meetings

Come explore the many benefits of Vipassana Meditation. We meet every Tuesday at the Jefferson Area Board for Aging (JABA) 674 Hillsdale Drive. Meeting starts at 7:30 pm.

The meetings begin with brief sangha-oriented announcements followed by a 30-40 minute meditation, or "sitting"  that is sometimes guided. After a short break, the evening’s teacher will present a "dharma" talk (dharma means "teaching") that addresses different facets of meditation practice including how to bring the heart of meditation into our daily life. After the talk, we have an informal discussion and questions.
